One of the hardest things for supporters at a marathon is spotting their loved ones. So Marvellous launched the adidas runner tracker for the London Marathon letting supporters search for runners and give them the best location to cheer them on.

I led the creative on both the site and large outdoor screens, working closely with the in-house dev team to deliver a consistent experience across devices and one that would work for the thousands of spectators.

The site gave a location, average speed, 5km splits and an estimated finish time so people could be in the right place at the right time to cheer on their friends and family.

adidas runner tracker went on to claim a D&AD graphite pencil, a Webby, a Cannes Lion and Meribel Cyber Crystal.
